Oushak

This 4’x6′ rug was woven in Afghanistan with natural dyes and hand-spun wool. The design draws inspiration from the highly  popular Turkish Ouskak rugs, known for the soft tones and large scale motifs. This rug is woven with around 40 knots per square inch, a knot density typical of some Oushak style rugs.
